Lobster Stock Lobster stock is delicious, especially in seafood risotto or pasta dishes. You can also use it in seafood stews or soups, like cioppino.
Oysters for Breakfast at the Farmer’s Market Every Saturday morning, Kate and I go to the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market and eat oysters for breakfast. This is a photo of her last weekend. Pesto-Crusted Salmon Pesto-Crusted Salmon is very easy to make. If you make the pesto ahead of time, it’s a snap to make this dinner. Serve with salad or vegetables. It would also go great on a bed of pasta or with a side of risotto.
Sashimi with Miso Soup Seth wanted Japanese last night so I made sashimi. Sashimi is just like sushi only there’s no rice. So basically you’re eating raw fish dipped in soy sauce with wasabi.
