ExpoWest 2012: My Favorite Things — Part 7
Natural personal care products are a bit tricky. Some are great, others not so great. Here are my favorites from Natural Products ExpoWest 2012:
Our skin absorbs what we put on it, so we want to avoid products that have nasty chemicals.

Here are my favorites from Natural Products ExpoWest 2012:
Personal Care
Momma Nature
Momma Nature is a relatively new company. I was very impressed with all of their products. Not only did they smell fabulous and feel decadent, but they are made with all-natural ingredients.

Earth Mama Angel Baby
How do I love Earth Mama Angel Baby? Let me count the ways.
You will be hard-pressed to find a company more committed to safe, natural products for mothers and babies. Gosh, how I respect that. And LOVE that!
Kelly the Kitchen Kop and I were lucky enough to meet the founder of Earth Mama Angel Baby. When you look into her eyes, you can see how committed she is to healthy products for mothers and babies.
So refreshing, considering how many garbage products are out there marketed to moms. I trust Earth Mama Angel Baby 100%. Just check them out on Skin Deep — they have astoundingly good scores.

Softcup
Do you dislike using tampons? I do. Mainly because they are so wasteful and expensive.
Enter Softcup. I haven’t tried it yet but I am very curious to give it a go. They claim that you can wear it for up to 12 hours. You can get the reusable or the disposable option.

Honeybee Gardens
Honeybee Gardens is one of my very favorite brands of personal care products. Why? Because they are diligent about keeping the bad stuff out of their products. See for yourself on Skin Deep.
I especially love their nail polish. There are only 3 brands I know of that I consider to be safe nail polishes. Honeybee Gardens is one of them.

Sparklehearts
If you have little girls, you have got to get your hands on some products by Sparklehearts. Not only are they super fun and cute and glittery and girly, but yeah, they are totally natural and safe.
Kate uses all the Sparklehearts products and we love them!

Burt’s Bees
Kelly the Kitchen Kop is addicted to Burt’s Bees. She especially loves their lip shimmers.

You can find Burt’s Bees at most grocery stores and drug stores, and health food stores.
La Natura
We loved La Natura! Heavenly scents and all-natural ingredients. What more could you want?

Florame
We happened upon the Florame booth by chance.
So glad we did because they have the coolest little gadget that we were lucky enough to get a sample of. It’s a essential oil diffuser that fits into your USB port. How COOL is that?
These babies are not on the market yet but they will be soon! Stay tuned!
Meanwhile, you can check out the whole line of fabulous organic and French Florame products — essential oils, essential oil diffusers, hair care, skin care, soap, candles, etc.

Nubian Heritage
I fell in love with Nubian Heritage products a while back. I found them at Vitamin Shoppe of all places.
I’m very picky about my personal care products, and I was impressed by the ingredient list.
These products smell wonderful, they feel wonderful, and they are all natural.

You can find Nubian Heritage at Vitamin Shoppe or shop on Amazon.
Beautiful Curls
My daughter Kate has curly hair. Kelly and I were so psyched to find the Beautiful Curls booth at ExpoWest.
